Join Healthy People 2020 and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research on Tuesday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m. ET, to learn about the role prevention and population health can play in advancing inter-professional education. Participants will learn how to access resources for developing curricula and collaborative learning experiences to improve prevention and population health education across various health professions. Faculty from the University of Texas Medical Branch and Duke University will describe their efforts to expand prevention education across disciplines. After completing this webinar, participants will: A. Understand the important role prevention and population health education have in the training of health professionals; B. Be able to discuss examples of inter-professional learning experiences in prevention and population health developed at various schools; and C. Know how to access resources for developing curricula and collaborative learning experiences. Webinar participants may earn 1.0 Certificate in Public Health (CPH) credit by attending the webinar, confirming their interest in earning a CPH credit when registering, and completing a post-webinar questionnaire.
