VPHA's 2026 Annual Conference - Healthy, Together: Strengthening Public Health across the Commonwealth
Please join us for VPHA's Annual Conference at Reynolds Community College, Parham Road Campus, in Richmond, Virginia. The theme of this year's event is "Healthy, Together: Strengthening Public Health across the Commonwealth."
The Annual Conference will be held on Thursday, September 24 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday, September 25 from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. A conference reception will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 24, from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM at Blue Bee Cider.

New this year, VPHA has teamed up with partners to offer interactive training sessions on Friday afternoon. You can find a brief description of the offerings below and sign up for a training during registration.
- Interactive Public Health Advocacy Training - Build up your advocacy toolkit to help you communicate the value of your work in public health to policymakers, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Seizure Recognition and First Aid Certification - Increase your knowledge, skills, and confidence in recognizing seizures and safely administering seizure first aid. Up to 1.5 Category I CHES & MCHES continuing education contact hours available!
- REVIVE! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Training - Hands-on training to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency using naloxone.
Conference Reception
We will host an informal reception on Thursday, September 24, from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM at Blue Bee Cider (13 minutes from Reynolds) located at 4811 Bethlehem Road, Richmond, VA 23230. Please join us for this opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues from across Virginia. There is no additional cost to attend and ample on-site parking at the venue.
