The Health Equity Committee ensures that VPHA's mission – to strengthen public health practice and promote sound public health policy – is fulfilled equitably throughout the Commonwealth. The Committee is responsible for conducting VPHA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) readiness survey, developing and tailoring DEI strategies, and assessing membership demographic data to identify opportunities to diversity VPHA's members and leadership.

Policy & Advocacy Committee

The Policy & Advocacy Committee helps shape our policy priorities and advocacy efforts. This includes developing our Policy Priorities Survey, conducting policy analysis, and collaborating with organizations that share our values.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee promotes the professional development of our members. This includes hosting educational webinars, the annual conference, and other professional development events.
